Board approves subdivisions amid public concerns over roadmaster

PA CHARLESTON — Charleston Township Board of Supervisors approves subdivisions and adjusts tax payment policies. The board unanimously approved the Paul Mitchell and James Dempsey subdivisions and adopted a $1.00 tolerance fee for tax payments. The meeting drew significant public comment on roadmaster performance, proposed ATV ordinances, and the proposed UGI gas line project; board member Gary Phelps said he would contact UGI regarding rights of way.
The township received a $25,760.00 road turnback payment and $240,873.52 in Liquid Fuels Tax Fund payments.
