Board tables wage increase, addresses visitor concerns

PA CHARLESTON — Charleston Township Board of Supervisors defers discussion of employee wage increase until June. The board, with members Mark Starkweather, Gary Phelps, Kyle Wheatley, and Secretary Patricia A. Reese, held an executive session on the matter but did not approve a raise at the March 2 meeting, tabling it to June 1, 2026.
Zoning Officer Mike Carson reported on properties in violation, issuing 30-day correction letters to Joseph Manookian, Gerard Doran, and Duwayne Cavanaugh. The board also approved general bills and received emergency contact file correspondence from Tioga County Emergency Services.
